TATTOO YOU

Há pessoas que tem adição por Sapatos, Dvd's, Livros, Relógios, Canetas... E que consideram estes pequenos itens como marcas nas suas vidas. 

Eu mesma tenho a tendência, (quase obsessiva compulsiva) de coleccionar certas edições de revistas, que tem editoriais de fotógrafos que admiro ou então entrevistas a personalidades inspiradoras e que sei que daqui a uns anos vou ter na minha Biblioteca, quando tiver a minha casa de sonho (keep dreaming :) ). E guardo-as religiosamente, são as referencias e marcas que vão ajudando a construir a minha personalidade e estética, que quero ter sempre perto de mim (sei que não sou a única).

Mas depois, há os corajosos, que pegam nas tais marcas que falo, e que não as guardam em estantes ou caixas, mas sim, que as trazem permanentemente consigo gravadas na pele. 

As tatuagens desde sempre fizeram parte da nossa cultura, e sim, eu sei que tudo é cíclico, mas actualmente esta estética está cada vez mais popular, onde homens e mulheres de qualquer idade gravam nos seus corpos imagens, tipografia, com diferentes significados, em línguas diferentes... como forma de mostrar o seu individualismo e criatividade.

Uma das forças mais influenciáveis, a Moda, principalmente na London Fashion Week, apresentou um conjunto de manequins, como Miles Langford, Quaintance James, Lawson Rhys Taylor, Daniel Bamdad... que roubaram por completo as atenções e têm feito trabalhos atrás de trabalhos. E espero vê los em muitos mais editoriais.

I have the same trend (almost obsessive compulsive) to collect certain magazines editions, which has an photography editorial  that I admire or an interview with some inspiring personalities and I know that in a few years i will have these magazines in my library, when i have my dream house (keep dreaming :) ). And i keep them religiously, as references  and brands that help to build my personality and aesthetic, and I have them always near me (I know I'm not alone).

But then there are the brave ones who pick on those brands which I speak, and do not keep them on store shelves or in boxes, but rather they bring them with them permanently etched on their skin.

Tattoos have always been part of our culture, and yes, I know that everything is cyclical, but currently this aesthetic has a very popular increasingly, where men and women of any age write in their bodies or printe images with different meanings and in different languages ​​... as a way to show your individuality and creativity.

One of the most influential forces, Fashion, especially at London Fashion Week, presented a set of models, such as Miles Langford, James Quaintance, Rhys Taylor Lawson, Daniel Bamdad ... that completely stole the spotlight and have done work behind the work. And I hope to see them in many more editorials.

Eu sou uma tattoo lover, e apesar de neste momento não ter nenhuma tem sido algo que tenho vindo a adiar, sem motivo aparente, mas já começo a ficar com aquela comichão psicológica a dizer 'Charly, estás à espera de quê?'
