DANIEL BLAUFUKS

Quando algo me chama à atenção captando-a até ao âmago, crio uma espécie de obsessão (o transtorno obsessivo-compulsivo é considerado o quarto diagnóstico psiquiátrico mais frequente na população: I'M NOT ALOOONE!!!) .

Ohh, what a dream...
Visitem, cultura visual nunca fez mal a ninguém :)

When something calls my attention, raising it to the core, i create a kind of obsession (obsessive-compulsive disorder is considered the fourth most common psychiatric diagnosis in the population: I'M NOT ALOOONE). And that is clearly happening to me since the first time I scanned the work of Daniel Blaufuks.
The first books I saw were his'' A Journey to St. Petersburg Diaries'' and'' London Diaries''. Since then I have done the largest study ever, expanding my vision with the portfolio of this artist. His work is like a mirror of what I like, and a part of what i'd liked to be/have.
Daniel is Portuguese, and the exoticism of his last name because he is the grandson of Polish and Germans. His initial aspiration was targeted for writing, but he do not feel confident enough in this skill, so he took a course in photography and began working as a freelancer for the Blitz, Marie Claire, The Independent, among other publications. To date, he has published books which combines photography and writing, made films, won huge prestigious awards. Ohh, what a dream ...
All images published in this post refer to the book'' A Journey to St. Petersburg,'' which can view full HERE, as well as many other books that are available on your site that is very worthwhile. Visit, visual culture never hurt anyone :)

Mark my words. ;)

Até breve. See you soon.
Charly
